They say there is no “I” in team, but there is in “CreatIvIty”.

Creativity is our own personal art of “here’s what I’ve created”.

Thus I call this blog the “Create-I’ve” or Creat-IVE Blog

Those are the four focus points of my blog, podcast and mission.

1. We lose Creativity early in life

I believe we are all born with creativity and we make the choice to stay creative or stop. I have spent long hours studying and answering the question…

“can I be creative again?”… yes you can.

The more people I can save from their drury outlooks on design. get them willing to suggest risks, own the risks, and change the norms, the better our world will be, the faster we will obtain break throughs. I will touch on this subject multiple times in my blog as it is a driver for me to help those that are struggling for new ideas

2. Innovation is a risk.

Through my blog I am to touch on the reasons why innovation doesn’t happen in the design world and innovation has just become a marketing term we use after taking an old technology and slapping a fresh coat of paint and some trendy buzzwords on it.

3. Design is a delicate art that is never taught right.

Most of us fall into design. we learn the science, the rules, and they trow us out of the nest and we fall. Design is a process that allows for art and technology to intertwine. I aim to encourage you to creatively design solutions to your problems every day.

4. Art isn’t just for kids.

Art goes beyond finger painting and true art is unhinged and an expression of the human heart. Corporate design shouldn’t make any designer or engineer feel like they gave up on their inner artistic spirit. It should allow them to find an outlet for creativity. I regularly look for tools I can talk on to help you expand art into all of the areas of your design and problem solving.
